Red King Crab Selects
The Alaskan Red King Crab, a native of the Bering Sea, is caught along the coastlines of the Kodiak archipelago, Bristol Bay and Norton, using box shaped traps or crab pots. They are caught during the months of October to January and are the most craved of crab species on the world market.
Our Red King Crab Selects are an assortment of the choicest parts of the crab meat, which is snow white with a pinkish outer skin and bright red shell. It has a tender meaty texture with a deliciously unique, sweet tasting flesh.
Red King Crab Selects have a range of nutrients and can be easily cooked. Grilled or steamed, they are one of the best delicacies out there.
How to properly defrost frozen seafood: We recommend that all frozen seafood be defrosted by placing product in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours depending upon the density. Never force thaw a product by running it under water (hot or cold as it can cook the product). Not only does this reduce the flavor, but it is also a health hazard.
