How do I order seafood online near me?

Simply browse our online marketplace and place your order. From there, we’ll get to work safely packaging and shipping your order so it arrives right at your door, regardless of where you are in the country.

What sets Anderson Seafoods apart?

Anderson Seafoods products are 3-8 days fresher than what is available at the typical grocery store, and we are proud to rank among the 2% of food companies that are USDC inspected.

How much does shipping cost from the seafood online store?

Enjoy free shipping on all orders $250 and up. All other orders are shipped at a $59 flat rate fee. Please note that there is an additional $25 UPS surcharge for Saturday deliveries.

How many days will it take to receive my order?

While we can not guarantee exact delivery times, we always work our hardest to ensure that you get your seafood shipped to your door as quickly as possible—usually next day. Orders placed after 9:00am Thursday or through Sunday will ship Monday to arrive on Tuesday. Orders placed Monday through Thursday before 9:00am will ship to arrive the next day by 10:30am. Some areas within the US may be delivered by end of day. (All times are in Pacific).

Where can you ship to?

We’re happy to ship your order anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. International shipping is not available at this time.

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. On the checkout page you will be directed to create an account, or to log in if you already have one.

How do you ensure freshness for seafood home delivery?

Our packaging system is designed to ensure the product you receive is as fresh as when it left our facility. This includes packing your order in an eco-friendly box with a special liner that assists in maintaining temperatures and preventing leakage. All fresh seafood is Cryovac-Sealed to minimize damage during the shipping process, but also to minimize moisture loss. Frozen seafood will be enclosed in plastic bags. In both cases, cold packs are included to maintain optimum internal temperature.

How can I track my order?

We’ll email you a UPS tracking number when your order is shipped so that you can monitor delivery. You can also track shipping here using your order number and account information.

What happens if there is an issue with my order?

Please contact customer service toll free at 1-(855) 654-3474 (FISH) or by email at if you have an issue. Our phone line is available weekdays from 7am to 3pm PST, and our email is open for you 24/7. If you are not absolutely satisfied with your purchase, we will refund your money. Please make sure to include as much order information as possible when you reach out to customer service in order to help us expedite your request.


How do I store my seafood?

We recommend that you unpack all packages as soon as possible and place the seafood in the refrigerator or freezer to retain freshness. Keep in mind that proper storage is vital, and the shipping containers are not suitable for storing your product after the delivery has been made.

Is the fish cleaned before it is shipped?

Yes. Unless otherwise specified, we will gut, descale, and remove the side and top fins before we ship your order to you.

What is Anderson Seafoods’ sustainability policy?

We’re glad you asked! Sustainable seafood is a top priority for us, which is why we only source our seafood in ways that can maintain or increase production in the future—and that won’t jeopardize the ecosystems and communities from which its acquired. Our goal is always to source from suppliers who have our same vision, and encourage those that don’t to become more sustainable. We have also partnered with the Aquarium of the Pacific in the Seafood for the Future program, which helps us fulfill our sustainability commitments and educate existing suppliers and customers, as well as find new ones who share our philosophy of sustainability.

When I order fresh fish online, or frozen, is it farmed or wild?

It depends on the type of fish that you order. Both farmed and wild fishing practices are safe and sustainable when done correctly, so we always focus on where we can get the best quality product in the most eco-friendly manner.


How do I defrost frozen seafood?

We recommend that all frozen seafood be defrosted by placing the product in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours depending upon its size density. Never force thaw a product by running it under water (hot or cold), as it can cook the product. Not only does this reduce the flavor, but it is also a health hazard. Consume frozen seafood within one day of thawing, or keep frozen.

What else should I know about handling my order?

Perishable products should be refrigerated or frozen. Slightly thawed sealed portions may be placed safely in the freezer with no perceptible loss of quality or nutritional value. Most fresh seafood packages have a refrigerated shelf life of 3 days, while unopened, vacuum-packed smoked salmon has a refrigerated shelf life of 2 weeks.
