Smoked Scottish Salmon Fillet
From the cold, clear waters of Scotland, we bring to you a whole smoked Scottish salmon fillet. Adhering to the traditional, artisanal methods that originated in Scotland hundreds of years ago, our skilled craftsmen take great pride in creating small batches of this rare, handcrafted delicacy. Scottish Salmon is 100% natural with no antibiotics, dyes or preservatives and is considered by many to be the world’s finest smoked salmon.
This is a seafood delicacy and a perfect gift for the Holidays. Each fillet weighs approximately 2.5 - 4.2 lbs.
For optimum flavor and texture, remove the portion to be served from the refrigerator and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. Smoked Scottish Salmon can be served on its own with freshly squeezed lemon juice and black peppers on fresh baked brown bread, or with bagels and cream cheese. For the ultimate indulgence we suggest caviar (Israeli Osetra, French and Siberian) and a glass of chilled champagne.
Smoked Scottish Salmon contains no artificial preservatives and therefore must be kept refrigerated at all times when not being served. It is best stored unopened where it will stay fresh for up to two weeks. Once opened the salmon should be kept well wrapped in the refrigerator and used within four days. To experience smoked Scottish salmon at its best the product should be kept fresh, however for extended storage the salmon may be frozen for up to three months if unopened in its original packaging.
