Shrimp Skewers:

These succulent shrimp skewers are a spectacular seafood delicacy. Farm raised / processed in Guatemala, and are available all year. Our delicious shrimp skewers are peeled, deveined and with the tail off and ready to cook.

Prior to cooking, the color of the shrimp meat is a grayish-pink that turns to a pleasing orange when cooked. The flavor of shrimp are sweet and firm.

Defrost and grill for approximately one minute on each side. Best to pull off medium rare as they will continue cooking.

Each skewer contains 15 shrimp.

How to properly defrost frozen seafood: We recommend that all frozen seafood be defrosted by placing product in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours depending upon the density. Never force thaw a product by running it under water (hot or cold as it can cook the product). Not only does this reduce the flavor, but it is also a health hazard.

You may have had fried bang bang shrimp before, but have you ever had it skewered and on the grill? We’ve brought all of the great flavors of bang bang shrimp to our recipe, but nixed the deep fryer in favor of a smoky grill. It’s a totally different take on traditional grill food, and also a quick and easy way to make a memorable impression at your next barbecue.

  • 2 Shrimp Skewers, thawed in refrigerator for at least 12 hours before cooking
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • Zest and juice of one lime
  • 2 tsp honey
  • ½ tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

  1. To make your bang bang sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime zest and juice, honey, fresh cilantro, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  2. Prepare your outdoor grill or indoor grill pan on high heat. Pat skewered shrimp dry and lightly season with salt and pepper. Oil your grill grates, and then place shrimp on the grill. Brush with bang bang sauce and cook for one minute, then flip over, brush with more sauce, and cook for an additional minute. Remove from the grill and drizzle with remaining sauce.
