Packaging Features
- Recycled Materials: Our exterior boxes are made from 40% post-consumer recycled materials and have undergone extensive UPS testing.
- Temperature Control: An eco-friendly liner inside the box helps maintain temperature and prevents leakage.
- Cryovac-Sealing: Fresh seafood is Cryovac-Sealed to minimize damage and moisture loss. Frozen seafood is enclosed in plastic bags.
- Cold Packs: We include cold packs in only fresh orders to ensure the internal temperature remains optimal.
- Controlled Environment: All packaging occurs in a 38-degree environment to guarantee your seafood arrives in pristine condition.
Handling Instructions:

To ensure the best quality of your perishable products, please follow these guidelines:

Refrigeration & Freezing:
- Refrigerate or freeze perishable items upon receipt.
- Slightly thawed sealed portions can be refrozen without loss of quality or nutritional value.

Smoked Salmon:
- Unopened vacuum-packed smoked salmon has a refrigerated shelf life of 2 weeks.
- Once opened, consume within 3 days.

Caviar:
- Store caviar at 28°F - 30°F.
- An unopened jar will stay fresh for up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator.
- Opened caviar should be consumed within 2-3 days.

Fresh Seafood:
- Fresh seafood packages have a refrigerated shelf life of 3 days.
- Consume frozen seafood within 1 day of thawing or keep it frozen.
Proper Defrosting
- Defrost frozen seafood by placing it in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours, depending on the density.
- Important: Never force thaw by running it under water, as this can cook the product, reduce flavor, and pose health risks.
