For best results, keep your potstickers frozen before cooking instead of thawing them first. This will help ensure you get the exact exterior texture and juicy interior that you’re looking for.

And because there are limitless ways to adapt it, you can modify the recipe based on your own favorite stir fry ingredients (or just whatever you have in the fridge). So heat up the wok and get to frying—this is one recipe you’ll definitely make again and again.


1 bag of frozen Salmon Potstickers


  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced into strips
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup sliced cabbage
  • ½ cup shelled edamame
  • ½ cup chopped fresh or canned pineapple
  • ¼ cup cashews

For the sauce:

  • ½ cup low sodium vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sriracha (or more to taste)


  1. Add all of your sauce ingredients into a bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.
  2. Cook your Salmon Potstickers. For this recipe, we prefer to pan fry them by adding to a shallow pan with oil over medium heat to start browning them and then finishing them off with a quick steam (add ¼ cup water to the pan and cover; cook until water is evaporated). You can also deep fry your potstickers if you prefer.
