Frozen Norwegian Salmon Fillet, Delivered to Your Door

Skip the specialty-store trip and get restaurant-quality Norwegian salmon shipped straight to your kitchen, ready to cook at home. Our frozen Norwegian salmon fillet has the red-to-pink color, moist and oily texture, and delicate flavor that make this fish a favorite for home cooks and professional chefs alike. It's also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, the heart-healthy fats salmon is known for. This is the same fish we supply to professional kitchens across the country, now available to order online.

Why Our Norwegian Salmon Stands Apart

Quality starts long before your fillet reaches your plate. We hand-select every order and process it in USDC-inspected facilities under strict HACCP food-safety protocols, a standard met by only about 2% of food companies in the country.

Our seafood also reaches you 3 to 8 days fresher than what you'll typically find at the grocery store. Each fillet is carefully sealed and packed in insulated, eco-friendly, temperature-controlled packaging built to keep your salmon at peak condition in transit.

Family-owned since 1979, we're recognized as a trusted authority in the seafood industry, with sustainable sourcing practices and a partnership with the Aquarium of the Pacific's Seafood for the Future program. When you order salmon online from us, decades of sourcing expertise stand behind every fillet. You can read more about our sourcing and freshness standards and why they matter.

NORWEGIAN SALMON STEW

Cold nights call for warm stew, and this Norwegian Salmon stew is the perfect answer. We’ve taken inspiration from a traditional Norwegian stew with the addition of robust root vegetables. We’ve also lightened it up by swapping out the beef for salmon and introducing tomatoes and coconut milk. The result is a sumptuous stew fit for a feast—or just a cozy weeknight dinner.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ lb Frozen Norwegian Salmon, thawed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large leek, trimmed and sliced into rings
  • 8oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 2 large carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 2 large parsnips, peeled and chopped
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oil in a large cast iron pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the garlic and leek and cook until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add tomato sauce and coconut milk to the pan, followed by chopped carrots and parsnips, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Allow vegetables to simmer in the broth until tender.
  3. Pat the Norwegian salmon fillets dry and cut them into large chunks. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange the Norwegian Salmon in the broth. Cook for 10 minutes, then add the pieces. Allow to cook for another 5-8 minutes, or until the salmon is completely cooked through. Add additional salt and pepper to season as needed. Remove from heat and serve.

This product is also a favorite for sushi and other raw dishes—perfect for both home chefs and professional kitchens.
